Recently stayed here while traveling from San Diego to tenn. and wanted to post this warning since a lot of the reviews seem positive on this establishment which make me wonder who’s posting those? I awoke after 2 hours in bed covered in ants, they were running the walls and carpet and it was a massive infestation with thousands, I contacted the front desk and the poor blonde lady working came down with rags and raid and sprayed and wiped them up and felt so bad because she said this is an ongoing problem. I went to sleep smelling raid but was too tired to switch rooms (they never offered either) when I awoke at 6 am the ants were back but this time they were in all my motorcycle gear and bags, after spending 2 hours washing and shaking out my gear I went to front desk and let them know and wanted to hear from the owner, well 2 days later I got a phone call from him (he was there when I checked in) he told me he has had this problem for awhile on the first floor rooms and next time he would put me upstairs, well I had already decided I would never stay here again anyway by this time. I got no offers of a partial refund or another room credit, just I’m sorry! I do want to say thank you to him for the $3 police officer discount though! My advice is avoid this infested place with filthy rooms and ceilings falling down from water leaks, also towels that look like they were from 1960 completely worn out to the fibers. Hope this helps some poor tired hot motorcycle rider that wants a good nights rest but won’t get it here. I will repost this every week forever (now that I’m retired) until he calls me again and makes good on this. Thank you.
