Pima County Department of Transportation along with its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Company, will complete final striping operations at various locations.The following roads will be striped beginning Sunday, June 20 through Friday, June 25, between the nighttime hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.:
River Road from Shannon Road to 15th AvenueIna Road from Oracle Road to Pima Canyon DriveLa Cañada Drive from Ina Road to Rancho Feliz Drive One lane of traffic will be open in each direction at all times. Due to the nature of this work, this will be a fast–moving activity. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.
In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
In Fiscal Year 2020/2021, the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department allocated $56 million in road repair and preservation funding for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
