Responsible for assembling, installing, moving, repairing and generally maintaining machinery and equipment for improved reliability and uptime. Maintains machinery and equipment to achieve optimal performance levels. This includes performing routine tasks, such as lubrication of machinery, bearing replacement, seal replacement, oil and filter changes, belt changes, etc. Requires use of hand and industrial power tools such as drills, power saws, grinders, forklifts, scissor lifts, tractors, atv, and other miscellaneous equipment. May perform general maintenance to facilities including plumbing and minor electrical work, installing or repairing irrigation lines, pump repairs, boiler.
Documented experience trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment and/or maintaining automotive or farm equipment. Experience with fabrication and minor welding. Experience with blueprint reading and precision measurements. Basic computer skills using email, internet research, Microsoft suit.
