German shepard/ whippet needing a loving home

Hi there right before covid happened I saved this girl from what seemed to be a bad situation or she was just born this way. She was a pup and was very timid but now I have had her and she hasn’t been around many strangers sadly due to covid. She is a wonderful loving sweet silly girl who follows me where I go and is great on the leash. She is house broken although if I forget to take her on a walk she will poop by the back door like hello mom sorry couldn’t hold it. Sometimes when she is excited or nervous she will pee herself a little bit and that is the part that I don’t know about from her first owners. She doesn’t shed as much as a normal German Shepard and she is a lot smaller than other Shepard’s. I am going through some health issues and have to much on my plate and sadly feel if she was with someone a female preferably that had time for her than she would have a more enjoyable life. She loves cats but new dogs might take a minute to introduce so preferably no other dogs. Her name is Marylin and she is a sweet heart once she gets over the initial meet and greet of who are you. She has the German Shepard bark and will make you feel very safe. She is crated when I leave or am not paying attention to her or I have her in a room with no toys or anything of importance because she loves to chew toys up. I wish I didn’t have to do this but I am praying there is a good person in the Roanoke area that will give her the love and life she needs. Please call me also probably better to not have her around children until she is used to you first. She had never hurt anyone but again she has existed through covid time so it has been weird and not a normal experience for a dog. I pray for a good person to love this pup the way I do!
