We test different topics such as advertisements, commercials, products, etc. What’s it like to participate in a study? - At Neurons Inc. we mostly use EEG, VR and Eye-tracking devices to record brain activity while looking at advertisements, shows, and products etc. - Recent studies include the use of eye-tracking glasses and EEG while participants online shop for 60 mins and were compensated $125! - We also recently conducted a 30-minute eye-tracking only study where participants viewed specific images and received a $50 prepaid visa card! What’s an EEG, VR, and Eye-tracking? - An EEG is a passive tool that allows us to measure brain activity. It’s a medical device that we use in commercial settings that is very safe and only receives signals. - VR stands for Virtual Reality which can emulate real life situations like walking through a store. - Eye-Tracking glasses and bars allow us to measure your eye movement to pinpoint exactly what you’re looking at. What Does a Typical Study Look Like? - Studies on average run from 45-60 minutes where you wear an EEG and either use VR or Eye-tracking devices to do simple tasks.
