Carpenter's Helper / Site Laborer needed ASAP!

Looking for a hard-working, team-driven, no-excuses type individual to join our busy remodeling company! Must be reliable and dependable and show up with a good attitude every day! You will be responsible for assisting the carpenters on job sites with various tasks including but not limited to: • Pick-up / deliver materials for workers to handle on job sites. • Keep job sites clean and machines serviced. • Install site protection and assure jobsite safety at all times. • Cut and install insulation, drywall and various wall / ceiling cladding • Cut and fit tile or linoleum as needed. • Prime surfaces and minor painting. • Build scaffolding, shoring, and braces. • Excavate and help with forming of foundations • Cut timber and lumber to specified dimensions. • Assist in the layout of foundation, building lines and anchor bolts including drilling and epoxy setting. • Cut, drill and install lumber during framing stages. • Set windows and help with door installations. • Install toilets, towel bars, finish hardware, etc. • Install trim and cabinets. • Place and set slabs and sidewalks. • Unload materials from trucks and stock in organized manner. • Ensure safety and cleanliness of subcontractors working on site. • Smooth and sand surfaces using power sanders. • Maintain company vehicle (if applicable) and keep it clean. • Read and interpret plans • Clear communication with ZBI team members and excellent customer service • Constantly seeking to better the company on a daily basis • Weekly timecard submission Bonus points for those able to pull a trailer. We have our own dump trailer and need someone with a clean driving record to drive the company truck and pull the trailer.
