Gaston College  is seeking to fill the following position: Utility Worker, Part-time, Up to 28 hours per week.  In a safe manner, assist in the moving of furniture and equipment as needed on all campuses under the supervision of the Housekeeping Coordinator. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the moving of furniture and equipment as needed on all campuses. Assist in the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, equipment, and related items for on-campus and off-campus College events and functions, including the Myers Center Multi-Purpose Room. Perform other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS Experience moving equipment and furniture in an institutional environment preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Fingerprinting may be required upon hire. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) certification may be required.
