Qualified individuals must be able to real plans, lead a crew, be efficient and control the day-to-day construction on a small job site. Those applying must have a valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work sites located in the Lake County and Northern Cook County and have the ability to travel on short assignments occasionally. Skills Required General laborer General Construction Skills May be required to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis Expert knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to manage a field crew 5 Year Carpentry Experience Expert in framing techniques Able to read construction drawings Self-Starter, prompt and professional In possession of basic carpentry tools Skills not required but desired Experience with residential deck construction Experience with composite deck material installation Ability to understand and work with new products Customer relations Estimating Acceptable applicants should enjoy working outdoors, demonstrate their ability to be part of a team, understand how to work quickly, be mindful of safety regulations and have the ability to follow instructions.
