Description

This position is responsible for all dock activities for all incoming and outgoing orders. Insures proper paperwork, verifies shipment versus order, communicates with carriers, and establishes priorities. Also insures shipments are packaged and prepared for shipment based on customer/carrier specifications. Position delivers incoming product to appropriate locations throughout the plant. Also moves orders from staging areas to loading dock. Position must be able to perform all duties in Finish Goods area including selecting and replenishing in high bay areas, consumer racks, and UPS line computer data entry. Position works closely with all carriers and communicates frequently with Distribution Supervisor and Unit Manager to insure effective shipping procedures are maintained. Accuracy of selections and put away a must. Moderate to heavy lifting is required. Must have experience in a lead role in this type of environment.
