Drummer/Inexperienced Bass Player Looking

40-ish, veteran drummer looking for a band that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Have family commitments so let’s practice once a week with a goal of one or two shows a month? Heavily influenced by Dave Grohl but have played many styles. Not the flashiest, fastest or best but I think I’m solid. Background is in concert percussion where I played at the college level. I’d also love a chance to play bass, but my experience is limited. Have good gear though. Prefer to practice in the northern Dallas/Tarrant or southern Denton county areas. Just want to get out there again and get a break from being dad for a bit, you know?
