The ownership, with many years of experience whom all started in the field, have learned and are still learning, what works and doesn’t work. Daily Responsibilities: Prune and remove trees as directed safely and per industry standards by the use of climber’s saddle, pruning tools, power chainsaws, boom operation, and rigging techniques using the correct ropes, Chipping brush and loading tree material onto trucks Communicate with other crew members, clients, or the public for safety precautions and hazards in and around the work areas Set up safety work area by use of caution tape, cones, or any barricade devices Use man lift or bucket for tree operations Assist the crew leader or supervisor with daily tree care operational needs and issues Requirements Must use, wear and understand the PPE rules Must be able to ascend or descend from trees Must be able to work overtime when needed such as weekends, to complete a job Must be able to work after hours on storm calls (OT Pay) Must be able to work with and around dangerous equipment Must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions Must be willing and able to drive a company vehicle to and from job sites if applicable Must be willing and able to understand the different types of trees and how to climb Must have own transportation to and from work Must pass a background check Must pass a pre-employment drug test if a driver Benefits Holiday pay available after probationary period Paid time off after probation period Medical and dental benefits after probationary period Preferred Certified Arborist or any other credentials of International Brotherhood of Arborists (ISA) CDL driver’s license If you are interested in joining a dynamic, growing team that supports and encourages each other while maintaining high standards of excellence, please consider applying for the position.
