We are a new tree service company hiring ground men / laborers for 2021 summer and fall season. Potential candidates can reply by email to setup an interview and fill out an application. Please read below if considering this employment. Our company provides tree services including: tree pruning, trimming, power line clearing, full tree removal, and invasive species prevention. Typical location for our work is within the Tri Cities (MBS) and surrounding area. Travel anywhere within the state of Michigan is possible and may include overnight stays. Responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to: -Following All Safety Procedures: the #1 and most important part of our occupation is working safely. -Equipment Setup: from start to finish you will be responsible for making sure all the equipment is properly setup and ready for use on each job site. -Using a Chainsaw: this will be for cutting up logs and brush for hauling from the drop zone to chipper, trailer, or designated area. -Rigging and Running Ropes: as a team we work together and one way will be setting up and manually assisting with blocks / pulleys, Port-A-Wraps, work, tag and speedlines. -Clean Up and Customer Property Care: as a team effort we not only cleanup our mess, but we return and setup any property we move or take down to make our work safe or prevent damages. -Directing traffic: stopping and directing traffic for equipment setup, clean up and tree felling. Requirements are: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Steel toed boots. A minimum of two to three prior job references are required. Experience is not required but would prefer one season's worth of prior work in tree service, logging industry or construction. Drug Testing will be done upon our request.
