Join us as we present Beverly Reese & Bob Meloy with Pat Frolander! BEVERLY REESE & BOB MELOY Beverly Reese is Director of Music, Organist/Pianist for St. Mark’s Episcopal church. In addition to church duties, she teaches private piano and holds certifications through the National Music Teachers Association and the American Guild of Organists.  Bob Meloy, trombonist, plays with various ensembles including the Barker Dam Brass Band in Colorado. He was the recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Award in high school and received a Special Citation for Outstanding Musicianship at the Greeley Jazz Festival while playing with the Casper College Dixieland Jazz Band.   Bob and Bev enjoy practicing a variety of music together and often play for St. Mark’s and other churches. We appreciate the opportunity to have them once again perform for an ARTCORE Music and Poetry presentation. PAT FROLANDER Wyoming Poet Laureate Emeritus, Patricia Frolander, manages the family ranch in the Black Hills of Wyoming. Patricia’s recent release, Second Wind, is honored to receive the 2020 Wrangler Award and the Spur Award for Best Poem from that collection given by the Western Writers of America. Her former book Married Into It, coveted Wrangler for Best Poetry Book of 2011, The Willa Cather Award for Best Poetry Book by Women Writing the West and 2012 Best Woman Writer by High Plains Book Award. Patricia is a member of the Bearlodge Writers and gives them extensive credit for her writing success in addition to the publishing expertise of High Plains Press. Co-sponsored by The Casper Journal. Partial funding is from the Wyoming Community Foundation - Casper Area. Refreshments will be served from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m. and at intermission.
