Description

Join Seattle Beer School for a workshop on German beer on the day of our B(r)auhaus beer release with Lowercase Brewing. Beer is culture! As part of B(r)auhaus Day, a day-long celebration of Germany and Seattle through beer at Lowercase Brewing in Georgetown, we are co-presenting free beer classes from Seattle Beer School. B(r)auhaus is a collaboration between Lowercase, Bottleworks Bier, and Goethe Pop Up Seattle. Taught by Shawna Cormier and Jess Keller Poole, the founders of Seattle Beer School, each one-hour mini-course will cover tasting techniques, recipes, history, and culture of German (and German-inspired) beer. Offered free of charge at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., there will be a registration cap of 25 students for each class. If you would like to taste the beers as the class discusses them, a SBS German Beer Package is available for purchase in advance. This kit will include (4) beer tasters (including B(r)auhaus Helles), a German beer map, a commemorative B(r)auhaus 16 oz. Willi Becher glass, and other fun giveaways. If you purchase the kit, it will be delivered directly to Lowercase and ready for you at the time of your seminar. About Seattle Beer School: “Hi!
