Description
This four-week series explores Buddha's timeless teachings on love. Learn how to develop a beautiful heart of pure love - everyone welcome! We often confuse the pain of attachment with real love. Thus, when we experience heartbreak with the ending of a relationship, we associate love with pain. Buddha taught that real love never causes pain, only hapiness. Learn how to love purely and experience the fullness of this beautiful mind. Class Schedule July 5 - Why love hurts July 12 - Developing real love July 19 - Appreciating kindness July 26 - Seeing beyond faults About the TeacherThis series is being taught by Buddhist teacher Cecilia Watson. Cecilia has been studying Buddhism for more than 15 years. Her study of Kadam Dharma and meditation practice have completely transformed her life for the better. Cecilia has taught Dharma on the Eastside for many years, and is currently teaching a quarterly TELOS class at Bellevue College. At the root of Cecilia’s heartfelt teachings is the compassionate wish for others to enjoy the same benefits that she has enjoyed as a sincere Buddhist practitioner.
