The Bartender is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during events at the party venue. Meeting quota and keeping people happy. You must be skillful and creative to making great drinks for a younger crowd. Specific Functions/Activities Summary. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS/ACTIVITIES SUMMARY: * Must be friendly, outgoing and create a welcoming environment to guests. This position is also responsible for assisting in the day to day Food & Beverage operations at the arena during events and maintaining food, beverage and cleanliness of bar area, includes heavy lifting due to stocking of work area. Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift. Checks identification to ensure is authentic and confirm it meets the legal drinking age of 21. Mixes, garnishes and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests. Be engaging to all guests, make recommendations, while taking their drink orders and completing all cash or credit transactions prior to serving. Adheres to TEAM training guidelines. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience, bartending license a plus. Have commitment to high quality customer service and ability to handle a high-volume environment. Food & Beverage product knowledge. Experience using POS system and handling cash. Have Bartender certificate SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: Able to walk and stand during the entire shift. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
