Beginner Obedience class will take place at Spontaneous Celebrations in Jamaica Plain, MA on recurring Tuesday evenings starting 8/10/2021. Beginner Obedience class will take place at Spontaneous Celebrations in Jamaica Plain, MA on recurring Tuesday evenings (8/10, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31, 9/7, 9/14, and 9/21) for 7 sessions. Each session will be 50 minutes long and be held between 5:30 and 6:20 pm. *Note: the first session will be an orientation session for humans only. This course is appropriate for dogs older than 4 months of age. Topics covered will include focused attention and engagement, hand targets, sit, down, coming when called, go to a mat, leave it, and loose leash walking. This course is great for young dogs, newly adopted dogs, or dogs that need a brush up on their behaviors. Please contact us if your dog has trouble working around other dogs or humans as this class may not be appropriate for them. This class will take place indoors with appropriate social distancing. Each family group will be limited to two handlers maximum per dog, class is limited to 6 dogs total to accommodate. Masks must be worn while in class. Sit Pretty Dog Training is a Boston based dog training company that provides group classes and private lessons. We’ll teach your dog how to communicate with you in an appropriate way, while keeping your relationship with your dog positive and fun.
