Grab your sunglasses and comfy shoes and prepare for a scavenger hunt and craft activity focused on colonial gardens and herbs! Join us in Merchant Park as we provide you and your group a scavenger hunt activity to complete featuring our gardens and herbs! Then craft a small sachet to take home with you with as you smell and guess the different scents! Tickets/RSVP required. Children's Day at the Museum Sponsored by Colonial Downs Group is a free program offered monthly with different themes and activities. Historic Dumfries Virginia, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization which operates the Weems-Botts Museum, hosts educational programs and events, and maintains a research library, archive, and collections on Dumfries' history. Our mission is to preserve and promote the historic heritage of Dumfries - Virginia's oldest chartered town.
