Come out and join the Bahamian American Association, Inc. for a Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 Let's continue this amazing annual tradition! Bring your families, kids, and friends. Enjoy our 'Family Fun Day’ festivities as we celebrate the 48th Anniversary of Independence of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the pre-celebration of the Bahamian American Association's 109th Anniversary. We will have tons of games including bingo and dominoes and just a lot of fun! Colors of the day are black, gold and aquamarine, the best culturally dressed individual, wins a prize! Come out and enjoy a Bahamian Dance Contest with Prizes and Surprises! Please bring your chairs, food and board games. We ask that you donate any amount that contains a one, zero or nine in commemoration of the 109th Anniversary of the founding of the Association. Also upon arrival, please be prepared for the following: • A Brief COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire• A Temperature Check (must be below 100.4 degrees)• Hand Sanitization• Completion of the Statement of Waiver and Assumption of Risk related to Coronavirus/COVID-19 In the year 1912, ten men of Bahamian ancestry came together and formed an organization in hope of filling the needs for fellowship and community among Bahamian families in the New York area.  On September 17th, 1912, the Association was duly organized, a constitution was drafted, and the bylaws were framed. The Association’s purpose then and remains now, is to provide a place of fellowship and community for Bahamian families in the New York area.
