The band is comprised of rabid Phish Phan veterans of the Dallas music scene, including former and current members of Scarlet Rose (Grateful Dead Tribute), Sunset Drive Jazz Quartet, Trio Django, Magpu, Escher's Elevator, and others. In Spring 2020, Eddie Wiggins joined the band on drums to replace the injured James Willis, and the band formerly known as Back on the Train became Sushi Greenberg.
