I'm a foster through Houston's BARC animal shelter. I have several kittens available for adoption. All kittens are fixed and fully vetted before adoption. You can go to our website for details. You can meet a kitten in person prior to adoption if you like. Now let me tell you about a very special girl: Catalina A1759682 Catalina is a soft, gorgeous kitten. She is extremely affectionate once she becomes comfortable. She is cautious around new places and people, but once she learns she's safe she loves to aggressively rub against your legs, sit in your lap and knead you, loves getting pets and attention. You can hold her in your arms on her back like a baby and she is happy to just be with you. She likes to play but is gentle when playing with a person's hand. She is ok being alone but prefers the company of either humans or other cats/kittens (I am unsure of dogs, but suspect she would be fine with them). She was nervous around children, but I think she would be fine once acclimated. Please be aware she does not like dirty litter boxes and will go elsewhere if she deems it necessary, so regular litter box maintenance will be important. She is also inclined to sharpen her claws on furniture so appealing cat scratchers will also be important.
