advice needed re raising a LGD pup

I have a 3 mo old Pyr pup. My old LGD, Pyr was a d adult rescue. I am looking for advice about raising her, about basics. I assume, when she is older, she will become a livestock guard dog. All I have now are chickens, but there are bears & bobcats around. Thanks, Eureka Rural Senior
