BPD is dedicated to the promotion of excellence in Baccalaureate Social Work Education. The Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, Inc. (BPD) is dedicated to the promotion of excellence in Baccalaureate Social Work Education. The first annual conference was hosted in Nazareth, Kentucky in 1983.From its humble beginning with only 53 attendees and 21 presentations, now in its 39th year, the annual conference has grown into the premiere annual event for baccalaureate social work education. This website serves two separate purposes: Association Membership (Annual Membership does not include Conference Registration); and Annual Conference Registration (Does not include Annual Membership) All ticket sales are currently closed. Ticket sales open on 07/07/2021 at 12:01 a.m. The 39th Annual BPD Conference will be a Live event in New Orleans, LA, March 2 - 6, 2022 at the New Orleans Sheraton. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL:Annual Membership is good January 1 - December 31. Annual Memberships are nontransferable and cannot be pro-rated. Annual Membership does not include Conference Registration.
