This is a100% vaccinated only show w/ vax card required! Only100 tix are available! Shehehe’s music has always been rooted in heartfelt, autobiographical songs about a band and its life: the things that drive them crazy, the things they love, their awes, triumphs, and humor. Whether you see Shehehe live or hear them on a record, from that first note to the last you’ll be bouncing and singing along to the infectious, anthemic chants of youth and subsequent struggles with adulthood. Snarly call and response male/female punk vocals, occasional soft, sweet harmonies, and a scream or two paired with thumpy, pounding, aggressive, hypnotic rhythms inspire and cultivate a genuinely honest, nostalgic, yet unique rock & roll scene. A scene not just in their hometown of Athens, GA, but all over the plethora of cities these road tested, road worn, and at times road beaten band members have been during their six year tenure. Uncompromised, unabashed, uninhibited, a must-see for fans of any kind of music, Shehehe is always a great time! After putting in work for nearly a decade with Athens rockers Modern Skirts, Phillip Brantley debuted his new trio, Palace Doctor, with 2017's locally acclaimed Mangled LP. In contrast to the Skirts' sunny indie-pop, Palace Doctor—consisting of Brantley on guitar and vocals, plus Nick Robbins (Velveteen Pink) on bass and Jeremy Wheatley (Sailors & Ships) on drums—deals in a moody, muted brand of rock that incorporates strains of grunge, doo-wop and Americana. Mangled has proven to be a slow-grower of a record whose appeal becomes more evident with each listen. 2018 and 2019 found the band playing more and more shows and growing their original catalogue. The band plans to go into the studio this year to start work on album #2. Find out why Palace Doctor is one of Athens, GA's rock n roll treasures. Hunger Anthem is an indie power rock trio hailing from Athens, Georgia with an absolute keen bent towards guitar driven tuneful pop bearing a definite punk ethos. Their unified kinship and shared DIY work ethic keep them blazing steadily on the road with super tight, high energy live shows, forever grateful of friendships forged along the way, as well as the sum of moments and unfolding experiences of both the unexpected and the familiar. Their third release is due out in fall 2021. “There’s so much melody and punch pouring off their stage it’s difficult to describe itwithout totally geeking out” -Flagpole Magazine Shehehe Palace Doctor, Hunger Anthem Aubrey Entertainment presents...
