This bicycle race offers 50 mile and 100 mile distance options. Racers will start in Fairbanks and race toward Nenana and back.
Bust out your bike and head down the road! Riders have the option to participate in either the 50-mile or the 100-mile course. The race will begin and end at Black Spruce Brewing Company in Fairbanks, Alaska. An award ceremony will take place at at Black Spruce Brewing Company at 6PM after the race, and both racers and fans are invited! All skill levels welcome to participate! 100 mile race starts at 8 am and cutoff is 8pm. 50 mile race starts at 9 am and cutoff is 6 pm.
Course Details:
Racers will head north on Peger Road from Black Spruce Brewing. Turn left at the stop light and head west on the Mitchell Expressway. The race will proceed along the Mitchell Expressway until it becomes the Parks Highway, near Ester. 50 mile racer will turn around at mile post 238. 100 mile race will turn around at mile post 306. There is over 8,000 feet of elevation in the 100 mile race. Aid stations at miles 25, 50, and 75 with water and snacks.
