Volunteers needed at New York City Riding Academy - Randalls Island. The New York City Riding Academy https://www.nycridingacademy.org is a non-profit riding stables located on Randalls Island. There are currently four horses and a fifth one coming shortly. Students are mainly beginners to intermediates, both adults and children. The academy is currently looking for qualified volunteers/instructors to help out. Volunteer duties would mainly involve teaching lessons but would also include mucking out, feeding and general horse care. Because the NYCRA is a non-profit, this would be a strictly volunteer position but exercising the horses on slow days is always welcome. Equestrian experience is a must as well as someone detail oriented, responsible and dependable.
