Rehoming large friendly dog

Samm is a lively, playful big 6 yr old mutt, sheperd, rottie and Bernmese mt dog. he is a rescue from the no longer in exsistance new england all breed rescue, otherwise I would surrender back to him. Long story short, after several years of living with another dog, the other dog isn't getting along with him anymore. Being the younger one, I made the painful decision, and am looking for a caring, loving home for Samm. he is very talkative, friendly with people and generally with other dogs, although he will often bark when he sees them. His best pal is a 20lb boston terrier who loves to play tug with him. He's good with kids but he's big (105lbs) so not recommended for small kids, as he thinks he is little and could accidentally knock them over. He loves to ride and swim, and is good on leash. He is totally up to date on all shots, and there is no rehoming fee. I do need some reasurrance he is going to a safe, loving environment, as he is my big baby boy, and it breaks my heart to let him go but it is best for all.
