Description

I have a lot of experience in different settings working with children. I've volunteered as a full-time, Montessori certified, pre-school teacher in Africa. I know how to teach toddlers. I currently volunteer at the Young Child Clinic at UIHC and have learned how to work with kids with mental illnesses. I've also volunteered as a suicide hotline operator for a hotline that youth frequent. I have spent the last six months working in a lab at the University of Iowa studying what factors contribute to children's varying degrees of school readiness. Lastly, I was president of the honors society at Kirkwood Community College. I can inspire altruism and philanthropy in your children by modeling it, while also helping them succeed in school the way I have. I am studying social work at the University of Iowa to become a mental health therapist, specializing in children and families. I would love an opportunity to work with kids again. I'm open to a wide variety of part-time jobs. The best way to contact me is by email. Please do reach out with any questions you have!
