Specialized Pavement Marking, Inc., a highway pavement marking and striping company, with a location in Tualatin, OR, is seeking Highway Stripers and Laborers to join our team. Private wage is negotiable depending on experience. The majority of projects are prevailing wage work with current wages ranging between $34.31and $51.22 per hour including fringe benefits. SPM Benefits include 401k plan, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Job requires travel, with employer paid expenses, and daily per diem for out-of-town work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS A member of the striping crew will perform various duties such as the layout and painting of line stripes on highways, removal of existing paint and other laboring duties. Will be expected to run small power tools and operate hand pumps. Employees may need to assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices as necessary. SPM is willing to train applicants. Will be expected to operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site; clean paint machines; general maintenance and repair of equipment; other work related duties as assigned. Clean driving record required and Class A Commercial Driver’s License is preferred; all applicants must be willing to obtain Class A CDL. Work is performed in an outdoor setting with exposure to the elements on or around loud machinery. This could often include long hours of bending / stooping and walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND RANDOM DRUG TEST.
