I have an immediate need for someone to help out on a survey crew. I'm just going to say up front, there will be a drug test, and I have them do hair follicle testing, so synthetic urine will not be an option. Surveying is a profession that deals with numbers. You must have a "straight" mind to be able to deal with them. This position will start off at $15 per hour, but there is plenty of room for growth. I pay my Party Chief MUCH better than any other party chief in town. The concept is real simple. You take care of me, and I will take care of you. This position is as a W-9 employee; in other words, you would be basically self employed. You will have to take care of your own taxes. Worker's Comp is not provided by me, because once again, you are self employed. I will aid and assist you in how to get set up to be able to do this. 75% of my work is on construction sites doing layout work for my commercial construction clients, so you will be spending a great deal of time on them BUT I am also starting to pick up more work that consists of doing boundary surveys in the woods. You will be swinging a machete, walking through swamps, etc. On one of the sites I was on yesterday, I killed 2 water moccasins. You must REALLY like to be outdoors and in the woods; otherwise I can promise you, you will not like this job. I run this business out of my townhouse right now, and although I plan on moving shortly, I will always run this out of my residence. If you work out, I will be willing, after a period of time, help you pay for part of your health insurance through Obamacare. At $15.00 per hour, you will surely qualify. One last thing, you must have a valid drivers license.
