These two sisters, Mae and Mabel, may be looking for new pastures. They are Nigerian x Oberhasli. Approximately 4-5yo. We’ve had them for 1.5 years and they came from a reputable breeder. We are also a closed herd. They are both in milk. Mae is super sweet and has a fun personality and is easy on the milk stand. She does have a split teat, but it doesn’t affect her milking or nursing. Mabel is more dominant and is not the most social goat. She is also a little more to handle on the milk stand. We are not planning on breeding them again even though they make beautiful babies. We know that some traits are not desirable. They are unregistered, but make great brush eaters and produce good milk. They must go together as they are bonded sisters to a pet friendly home.
