Description
I need to re-home my 18 month old Australian Shepherd, Bear. He is very loving and protective, but he's unhappy here in my suburban home, and has become very ornery -- barking at everyone who passes, barking when we are not home (he is definitely a quarantine puppy and wants his people around 24/7), and taking off down the road, with a wink and a grin, every chance he gets. His trainer says he's very bored and needs more activity/a sense of purpose. My plans to move to the country in the fall fell through, and soon I'll move to an even smaller home, where he will be alone half the day.
I understand there are people here with malevolent purpose re: dogs, so I'm asking for a $100 rehoming fee, which I'll donate, and also a vet reference. He is neutered, up to date with shots and vet care, and he sleeps in his crate (rather reluctantly, as he'd rather snuggle). We love him, and would be so happy if he gets adopted by a loving family that can give him the activity and focus that he wants. He hasn't been around a lot of other animals, but he is good around my sister's small dog, and also around cats.
