San Diego Music Awards nominee for "Best Jazz Album" Ghost Jazz Trio is seeking a backup/sub bass artist for upcoming shows, festivals and concerts. The trio is currently recording the new album "On the Level" for release this summer through a record label. The current album is on radio playlists in 200 countries, and in the top 100 of the smoothjazz.com global radio charts, and climbing other charts worldwide. The bass artist that qualifies for this sub position will need to learn 20 plus originals from leadsheets and another 15 covers of the trios own arrangement, including song by Pat Metheny, Nils, Miles and others. Once you are dialed in, you can start being booked for shows. The current primary bassist performs with other marquee named bands on tours, and your position is to fill-in when he is not available. The GJT is signed with a couple talent agencies that finds work for the trio and the trio books shows as well, so there are many bookings already.
