TRUCK YARD MANAGER NEEDED

Telecommunications infrastructure contractor seeks detail-oriented, cleanly truck yard manager. Established in 1997, we are one of the largest underground fiber/cable contractors in NYC. We run dozens of trucks out of our City Island yard Monday through Saturday and are looking for an organized supervisor to oversee deliveries, manage yard labor (~4 laborers, 2 mechanics), organize materials, work with our mechanics to ensure that all trucks are up and running, etc. Compensation is extremely competitive with massive growth potential as we continue our expansion. Responsibilities: - Unload Materials Deliveries - Organize Yard Materials - Handle Inventory Reporting - Oversee Vehicle Maintenance - Update Vehicle Registrations Qualifications: - Equivalent organizational/management experience - Experience maintaining adherence to OSHA standards for a safe workplace - Experience operating a skid loader/backhoe recommended - Construction background is a plus - Class A license is a plus
