We invite you to join us at Ben Franklin Community Garden on July 10th to build you own living terrarium! Join us to make your own terrarium in the peaceful oasis of Ben Franklin Community Garden on July 10th starting at 10 am! The Garden is located in the South Hills neighborhood of Old Brooklyn, and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer. A portion from each ticket sold will benefit the Garden. Thank you for your support! During the event, your artist and terrarium enthusiast, Cory, will guide you on how to assemble and design your own living landscape trapped inside a unique enclosed glass jar! Since these terrariums will be enclosed, they will water themselves after the initial watering! Friendly reminder that a ticket is required to build a terrarium! Due to limited seating we are limiting it to 2 people max per ticket if parents would like to bring their child but not make a terrarium themselves. If you have more than one child that wants to make one, each will need a ticket to build one. Each terrarium will come out unique because there will be a table full of living moss, other small plants, sands, pebbles, rocks, gems, trinkets, and more! This is a full hands on event in the middle of nature! We will begin at 10 am! Please arrive 10 min early to check in and get situated! Please reserve your seat in advance through our ticket link in this event page. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. You will receive an Email confirmation with your ticket after purchasing. You do not need to print this out the day of. Please feel free to bring any snacks and beverages to enjoy while in the oasis! _____________ PARKING : The Garden is located at 1905 Spring Rd, right behind Ben Franklin Elementary school. You can park in the school lot and walk over, or park on Tampa Ave. where there is also an entrance gate and walk up the front Grass Root Designs is an art company run by Cleveland artist, Cory Manley, whom instructs creative events around the city.
