Oak Brook Polo's popular Horses & Horsepower concludes with an on-field car show of new and classic Ferrari before the afternoon match. The second tournament of 2021 Oak Brook Polo Season, Butler Challenge Cup, comes to a conclusion. Named after and on loan by the Butler Family. This trophy was reinstated in 2016 thanks to Jorie Butler Kent and her daughter Reute Butler. The beautiful sterling silver trophy has a long and storied history as many of polo's legendary players have competed for the chance to raise the cup over their head and drink champagne from it. Sunday's event will feature the 2nd of 2 Horses & Horsepower events with on-field displays of new and classic Ferrari vehicles for guests to drool over and fantasize about driving. Guests will want to get to the field early to view these stunning feature of motorsport engineering before they leave the field. The afternoon event will benefit Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy. HRET is passionately committed to empowering the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. HRET offers a variety of skill appropriate classes meeting the needs of preschoolers on our ponies to independent riders on our program safe horses. We are an equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) program that provides horse and pony therapeutic riding and activities. HRET will promoting their organization onsite, collecting donations and raffling off prizes. Today. the Oak Brook Polo Club plays on the Prince of Wales Field, which is adjacent to the Butler National Golf Course and The Drake Hotel in beautiful Oak Brook, Illinois.
