forming acoustic/folk duo to play 90s-aughts music

Gen X-ers/Millenials (and others kind of young at heart)- do you get tired of hearing the same old classic rock or 60's folk at farmers' markets? Are you sure there's a mass of people in their 30s and 40s who would get really excited to hear an acoustic rendition of Radiohead? Then this might be the group for you. Looking for any instrument and fellow vocalist to join me and play acoustic, folksy renditions of *our* music. Think the soft side of Wilco, Josh Ritter, up to Justin Townes Earle. Or re-arrangements of rock songs by Pearl Jam or the Killers. This stuff may confuse older listeners but I know there are a lot of people who would be into it, and a lot of potential venues. Planning to practice regularly (~1 a week) and hopefully be gigging by the fall or earlier (depending on gigs appearing, of course).
