A quick afternoon trip to beautiful Brazil? Let Bookwallah take you away! -Exclusively for the Women of Bookwallah & their friends- ¡Vamos! Slip into something colorful and join us on on an exclusive trip to Rio (through a secret portal right on Adams St) for the Women of Bookwallah & their friends. Your ticket includes a full traditional feijoada lunch buffet prepared by Rio native Georgina. To whet your appetite and get your heart pumping to those Rio rythms Eddie, from Samba Chicago will lead us in a samba lesson. Bubbles and exotic juices will flow as the summer breeze rustles through the lush garden pergola. You'll get to know your fellow story lovers, relax and play. This is an intimate gathering of just 30 guests. Please do reserve a seat (and one for a friend) as space is limited. So take a little Saturday get-away and come on down to Rio with Bookwallah! ~Dress Code: Color, Ruffles, Feathers, Sequins, & Scarves! ~Dancing: is optional but encouraged. ~Dietary Restrictions: There will be many vegetarian options available. Please note any other dietary restrictions and Georgina will do her best to accommodate. ~Social Distancing and Safety: We will be taking measures to allow for social distancing and require that all guests wear their masks at all times, with the exception of dining. The staff at Sinha are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of all their guests. We will remain outside in the garden for the entirety of the event. ~Parking: Free street parking is available on Adams St, Seeley Ave, and Monroe St. Sinha also has an adjacent small parking lot. ~All donations and proceeds will go toward Bookwallah's Libraries abroad and our Magic Crate Libraries. Bookwallah believes every child deserves the hope of a happy story.  Bookwallah is U.S. based 501 c (3) non-profit organization that brings the magic of storybooks and safe inspiring havens to orphans and children of trauma where their sense of possiblity, hope, and imagination can come to life.  Bookwallah helps to heal, empower, and transform these children so they too can believe and rebuild their lives.  Bookwallah was founded in Chicago, IL in 2010.
