We are a producers-only market, meaning that our vendors only sell things THEY grew, raised, or produced in NC. You'll find fresh local produce and flowers; pasture-raised meats; NC seafood; a huge assortment of baked goods; goat cheese and fudge; candied nuts; confections; beverages; sauces and marinades; free-range eggs; kettle corn; dog treats; gourmet pastas and sauces; local honey; preserves; pickled vegetables; maple and elderberry syrups; relishes and hot sauce; olive oil; prepared foods; ice cream; seasoning blends; soup and dip mixes; bath and body items; and MORE! *Check website for exceptions and hours. 8-12 from May-Oct. 9:30-12 from Nov-Apr. Our market sprouted in 2007 with just a handful of local vendors. We started the market as a way to enhance the lives of our citizens with farm fresh produce and meats and provide a place to foster community. The Farmers Market continues to grow each year. Today, we are voted the North Carolina’s Favorite Farmers Market - seven years in a row according to the American Farmland Trust Farmers Market Celebration contest.
