Timber is a 5 year old husky/malamute mix that we’ve had since he was born. He’s extremely happy-go-lucky, and an incredibly goofy boy that has gradually slowed down over the years. Here are some general facts and info about him..
He currently weighs 120lbs. He loves to run, play tug, water play (shallow only) and to be chased. He does well with most dogs outside, but tends to get grumpy with other dogs when in close indoor quarters. He likes rough play/chasing with other dogs but I wouldn’t recommend adding toys/treats in the mix as he is very clearly food and toy possessive. He takes many long naps throughout the day and often doesn’t like to be bothered when laying down and resting. He loves being kept company but DOES NOT do well with small children. He also displays signs of separation anxiety and can be mischievous if left alone too long. We attempted crate training, and it’s simply not for him. Overall he’s a low maintenance dog that has plenty of love left in him!
