I lost my 19 year old son, Tyler, to a fentanyl overdose on October 21st, 2018. I joined forces with another mom, Debi Nadler, who also lost her 28 year old son Brett to an overdose. We decided to work together to address the overdose epidemic.  We formed an organization called “Moms Against Drugs” with the goals of promoting drug abuse awareness, overdose prevention and providing resources and support to other moms who want to put on awareness events in their neighborhoods. The Drug Epidemic Awareness Walks Across America are happening in numerous cities and states.Â
Juli lives in Los Angeles and is busy with her husband raising her son and daughter, and doing volunteer work.  She continues to honor Tyler’s legacy of generosity by promoting random acts of kindness in his name.
Debi lives in Las Vegas and loves spending time with her children and grandchildren. She continues to honor Brett’s legacy by doing advocacy work and planning overdose awareness and prevention events.
