The Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Excellence will return to the stage w/NovaCron, The Stonedest & Dead People Particles The Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Excellence is a rotating cast of characters led by Brian Herb. You might know his as that sound guy in the overalls, or maybe he recorded your band or fixed your guitar. He's also been quietly churning out a unique, slightly off kilter, but always original brand of rock music for years with his performance career often taking a back seat to the time he spends touring as a tech for other bands. Catch him at home this summer before he's gone again on the road. This show will feature Ben Ivascu on drums (Polica, Marijuana Death Squads, STNNNG, Total Fucking Blood). The bands usual drummer, Alec Tonjes (Tulip, Mal, Burn Fetish) will be switching to bass for this show, just to keep things interesting. VAZ Brooklyn-based now transplanted back to Minneapolis rock band formed by Jeff Mooridian and Paul Erickson shortly after the demise of Hammerhead (2). Tyler Nolan began playing second guitar starting with the Chartreuse Bull LP. The Stonedest is Banana----and ummm...oh yeah, Banana Dead People Particles is a sonic project of Brandon Onward.
