On this walking tour, our local guide will visit shops and also learn about community efforts to make the area even better. *REQUIRED: A mask, a fully charged phone, and a pair of headphones compatible with your mobile device. Join us for a walking tour of Livernois, The Avenue of Fashion! Located in Northwest Detroit, Livernois has long been the heart for retail in Detroit. We will visit shops that are new to the Avenue within the last few years, as well as the older businesses that have been anchors in the community for decades. We will also learn about community efforts in place to make the area a better place to live, work, and shop. Total Walking Distance = ~1 mile REGISTERING: These tour tickets are donation-based to support our non-profit mission; however, please contact us at [email protected] if you are unable to pay. If RSVPing for more than 1 person, please register 1 donation ticket and each additional person under "Additional Tickets if RSVPing for more than 1 person" COVID PRECAUTIONS: Masks are required to attend this experience. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, we will be utilizing Zoom technology throughout the tour. Please plan to bring a fully charged phone and a pair of headphones compatible with your mobile device. CHECK-IN: The tour begins promptly at the start time. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide who will be wearing a blue Detroit Experience Factory t-shirt. TICKETING: No need to print your ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to check-in and give the guide your name. That's it! If your plans change and you can't make it, please cancel your booking to open up your spot to another participant.
