E-Bikes and Scooters need to be regulated before more people die, so far two people have died on the UWS this Spring from being hit by e-bikes or scooters! Maria Danzilo is the only candidate advocating to introduce regulations that will make our streets safe for pedestrians. In her last letter she clearly stated. " I will improve ENFORCEMENT OF TRAFFIC LAWS, and regulate e-bikes and scooters so that everyone feel safe on sidewalks, crossing the streets or biking in bike lanes."
