Hello! My name is Marcus and I am the frontman for a SF based band called, Your Fearless Leader! We’re doing a rebrand and want to come into post covid world ready to rock n roll. We have a number of songs in the works and plan on writing a lot more. Some history of ourselves: We’ve been established here in SF for over 5 years now. We’ve headlined almost every venue including The Independent, Rickshaw Stop, Slims, Bottom of the Hill. We’ve gone to SXSW in 2019 and performed 5 showcases. At our peak, we have 6-7 musicians on stage with a small orchestra. Our sound pulls from a number of influences but think indie rock, Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear, Andy Shauf, Interpol, The Walkmen, LCD Soundsystem, Local Natives. With some more vibe stuff like Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Lorde, The Shins. What we’re looking for: A bassist that can rehearse weekly in SF, contribute to writing, wants to perform, can learn quickly, is creative, has chops, down to tour, collaborator, committed, and wants to be a part of a band that has an established name in the city.
