Experienced Vocalist Wants to Join or Start a Band

I’m an experienced and versatile singer without a current band. I’d like to join an established group or start one up. I want to connect with skilled musicians who want to write and record original music as well as play live, and who are willing to work hard and put serious time and effort collaborating to make high-quality music. Age/gender/race/marital status/whatever doesn’t matter, just talent! I live in Winfield but commuting further for practices and gigs isn’t a problem. I prefer a band that does mostly original music but I do have plenty of cover band experience as well if there’s a band out there that needs a new frontman. As far as music genre and influences go, I prefer heavier stuff like metal (death, thrash, alternative, nu), punk, and grunge but I’ve done quite a bit of other styles from country to Christian to acoustic duo. If nothing else I at least would like to find another songwriter to workshop with and bounce ideas around.
