Rhythm/vocal seeking bandmates

I'm an older (as in "retired") guy who's been playing longer than some of you reading this have been alive. I usually play bass in a band context but I also have been playing solo as an acoustic fingerstylist/singer. I'm not a blazing lead on electric (but better than some I've heard) and I've been told that my rhythm chops are pretty good. I've got excellent vocal chops and a good ear. Most of what I like could fit under the very broad umbrella of "Classic Rock" *but* would prefer not to play from the list of 100 easy-to-play songs that every bar band does. Playing it right and tight should be your goal. NOT interested in playing bass unless your material is well beyond I-IV-V quarter notes droning on the root.
