Howdy. My rad drummer and I are seeking to round out our project with some melodic magick. I play guitar, write, and sing, and I have a low, sensual female alto. We are currently recording a 4 song EP of new original material using Logic Pro. If you're also an audio engineer, hell yeah. We are seeking a synth player or would happily take a bassist, if you have a gnarly effects pedal board to sound *alien* to add low end to our songs. Also, a cerebral, creative guitarist is desired, to play fuzzy, grungy leads and counterpoint to my more ambient wall of sound style parts. I use e-bow and slide a lot, and my delay and sequencer pedals. We don't really sound like any other band, but some of my favorites or what I might call influences for this project are Chelsea Wolfe, Radiohead, True Widow, Deftones, The Police, and Portishead. Right now we're rehearsing in my basement, but we're investigating a practice space at Puddletown. You'd be writing your own parts in this group, with input from us to achieve the genre / vibe we're going for, which I'd say is heavy, dark, dynamic, sensual, experimental yet groovy with unexpected hooks and ear wormy parts. You will be PART OF this band, we are not looking for session musicians or hired guns. Must be stoked for community band vibes, a democracy, a familial supportive environment.
