Revolution Rail is now hiring motivated, positive, outgoing people to join our Launch Team for our new South Fork CO location. Full and part time opportunities available during summer/fall season. Year-round potential for the right candidates. Railbike Guides - primary job duties include but are not limited to: - Lead/assist in the daily operations of the railbike trips - Deliver trip briefing to railbike customers - Lead groups on railbike tours - Manage road crossings on railbike tours - Create a fun, memorable experience for Revolution Rail Co. customers Station Agents - primary job duties include but are not limited to: - Check in customers arriving for railbike tours; - Organize, orient, and manage customers while waiting for railbike tours to begin; - Communicate effectively and regularly with rail bike tour guides regarding customer flow; - Deliver pre-trip orientation briefings to customers; - Respond professionally, productively, and punctually to customer and other public inquiries via telephone, email, and social media as needed; - Book tours over the phone as needed; - Merchandise, promote, sell and restock branded merchandise; and - Maintain a clean attractive station environment. Qualifications - all candidates must: - Have excellent people and communication skills and a great attitude, - Work well in a customer-oriented tourism role, - Be physically fit - able to lift 50 pounds and ride a bike 12 miles, - Be able to work effectively on a team, - Love nature and being outdoors, and - Be responsible and reliable. The best candidates also have: - Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or will get them) and - Experience as an excursion guide.
