Trying to put together a Grrrl Riot group

Hey there, I'm a queer chick looking for a bandmate or two. Always had a lifelong dream of being in a band, how about you? I can play guitar and/or bass, can produce and edit with Logic/keyboard/midi. I can sing but open to a lead singer (I can do backup or we can be equitable about it all, of course). Do you have an interest in rock music (indie/house/grunge, other, etc) and are you queer (all those living under the rainbow are welcomed) or a queer-ally who really enjoys bands like Sleater-Kinney, Le Tigre, Courtney Barnett, Bikini Kill. Pretty flexible. Just looking for some folks who enjoy music and want to try to put some songs together for the hell of it. You do not have to be super skilled at your instrument - just be willing to collaborate and have time to practice. I am a bit rusty but with practice would love to be a part of some badass queer rock group around town. Anyone interested?? Let's jam sometime! (oh also, I'm in my early 30's, live in the city but am cool with suburbs folks)
